Here we are at the Savage Cabin 10 miles down the road from where we started our day. I cannot believe that I made it! Thus the motivation of not wanting to say goodbye.
We got into the cabin & the
woodstove was all set-up. All we had to do was strike a match & we had fire. We each had one Guinness Beer that I brought along as a surprise. Dinner was cheese & nuts. We had food to cook, but we were both too exhausted to make dinner. That was the best beer, cheese & nuts I've ever had!
We had a cool moment happen out on the road before we reached the cabin. All of a sudden it seemed like someone was shining bright truck lights on us from behind. We knew that was not possible, but that's what it seemed like. When we turned around, the full moon had come out from behind the clouds & filled the night sky with light. Beautiful! Luminous!
